You asked us...

Participating in a course on patinas with Dario Biagioni means immersing yourself in an art that speaks of beauty and recipes to be preserved. You will learn to give life back to your furniture, enhancing it with your own hands, and share this passion with those like you who love to create and transform.

Our products are born from a true history, ours. We are not traders but artisans who have created what we needed. Each item is the result of years of experimentation, challenges and passion, made with natural ingredients and quality, to offer you the best of our experience.

Our restoration combines conservation interventions with lacquering and colored patinas, respecting the character of the furniture. We use artisanal techniques and natural products to preserve the history of each piece and give it new life with original finishes.

"Life is a game and enthusiasm is the engine that transforms dreams into reality. Only those who dream can set out in search of answers. Borrowing someone else’s dreams will never lead to the same satisfaction. Wake up to dream of a better world for ourselves and for those we love."

they say about us

«Meeting Dario and attending his courses on ancient patinas was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. He is a person of great artistic and human depth. His kind ways, the generosity of his explanations, his simple being, his preparation, his hospitality... They helped me to enter with serenity into a magical world. I got lost among magical mixtures and colors, I worked a lot and I rejoiced a lot, I received a lot. In addition to the techniques he tries to understand the interiority of a person and with deep reflection observes and tries to direct the student/ or towards content of substance both at a creative and existential level. Thank you Dario for what you taught me and especially thanks for the magic that you made me live!»

The taste for beautiful things, a little out of the ordinary and that have their own flavor led me to search for a "different" wardrobe for the bedroom of my new home.

A cottage in the countryside, rustic but renovated with wooden beams and intimate... without too many pretensions.

I thought of making modern objects but at the same time classic and transparent (from the Kartel line) with table, sofa and other frankly rustic furniture.

But the closet? Frankly I didn’t want anything too ordinary and I had identified a corner of the room perfect for a angoliera maybe in Provencal style!

So the research began, in Bologna and its surroundings where I live... But on the web I found the site of Dario Biagioni, carpenter and artisan who works in Tuscany, in Florence; in his catalog I saw an angoliera that was very similar to my idea... So Dario came to do a survey... immediately inspired me an instinctive sympathy as well as confidence for his obvious professionalism.

It is known that the Tuscans are nice, frank, of good or bad character because I believe they do not love the pleasantries nor the diplomatic attitudes. With Dario it’s easy to become friends... The corner wardrobe in Provencal style paper sugar is delicious, perfectly set and together with two armchairs Louis Gost by Kartel embellishes my new bedroom!

If I had a different budget I think I would have entrusted him with many other jobs... I hope so for my next home that should be the final accommodation...

The other day while I was sorting out the books to put in the new bookstore made by Dario, I found the print of his address and number, I smiled, and I thought how many had passed from that moment. In fact I searched for it on the internet because I wanted someone who could create something perfect for us in Provencal style, after that print it was a long time before we called him. Finally one Sunday when we had some time I decided and called him.  Once we met Dario, not only were we sure that he would be the best person to make our library a reality, but he would be the one who would materialize our imagination. Now I’m here to put the books inside and not put them in a banal bookstore, I’m putting them inside a magical place, enchanted, all made for us... and all this is thanks to Dario. Dario was a special meeting, he is a very pleasant person and of word. We are already making him do other little things, and in the future when we could and would need some enchanted piece for our house surely we will turn to him again. Thank you dear Dario a hug.

Ciao Dario!
